The 27th edition of Project Lebanon, the international trade exhibition for construction, infrastructure, interior design and energy, officially opened today at Seaside Arena – Beirut Waterfront, reaffirming its role as a leading platform bringing together key players in the construction and building sectors in Lebanon and the region.

Project Lebanon 2026 was held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam and was officially inaugurated by H.E. Minister of Industry Joe Issa El Khoury, in the presence of a number of ambassadors and diplomatic representatives, including representatives from Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, France, Indonesia, Egypt and Austria, alongside economic sector leaders, businesspeople, exhibitors and members of the media.

Organized by International Fairs and Promotions (IFP), the exhibition runs from 29 September to 2 October 2026, from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with the participation of more than 200 exhibitors representing Lebanon, Italy, France, Austria, China, Jordan and the Czech Republic.

In his opening remarks, Minister of Industry Joe Issa El Khoury highlighted the importance of Project Lebanon taking place at this particular stage, stressing that reconstruction represents a national priority. He said:

“Project Lebanon comes at a pivotal stage, as reconstruction is currently a national priority. The gathering of more than 200 exhibitors sends a message that Lebanon is ready for investment, and that the world is ready to be a partner in reconstruction. I congratulate IFP on its efforts and its steadfast commitment to contributing to the reconstruction of Lebanon.”

At a time when Lebanon’s construction, infrastructure and urban development sectors are looking towards the projects and investments required for the next phase, Project Lebanon provides a professional platform connecting industry stakeholders with the products, technologies, expertise and business partnerships needed to move projects forward.

The exhibition showcases a wide range of products and solutions covering various areas of the construction sector, including building materials and equipment, infrastructure solutions, renewable energy, engineering technologies, and other related products and services. The international participation also provides visitors with direct access to global expertise and the latest solutions, while creating opportunities for partnerships between Lebanese, regional and international companies.

Running alongside Project Lebanon is Interiors Lebanon, highlighting interior design, furnishings and related solutions, and providing an integrated platform that addresses the needs of professionals involved in the various stages of projects, from construction through to final fit-out.

Business Opportunities Beyond the Exhibition Floor

In addition to its exhibition platform, Project Lebanon 2026 places particular emphasis on fostering direct connections and creating new business opportunities.

The exhibition welcomes international buyers, including business delegations from Syria, providing exhibitors with opportunities to connect with qualified buyers and decision-makers seeking new suppliers, products, partnerships and business opportunities.

Through Match Gate, Project Lebanon’s dedicated B2B business meetings programme, registered participants can identify relevant business contacts and schedule one-to-one meetings in advance to take place during the exhibition, helping turn connections into tangible business opportunities.

Industry Dialogue and Knowledge Exchange

Project Lebanon 2026 also features a four-day conference programme, bringing together representatives from the public and private sectors, as well as architects, engineers, academics and experts from various fields, to discuss key priorities related to reconstruction and development in Lebanon.

The programme addresses a range of current topics, including post-war reconstruction, urban planning, digital infrastructure and 5G technology, renewable energy, building safety, sustainable construction, interior architecture, artificial intelligence, and the preservation of Lebanon’s architectural heritage, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and dialogue on the future of development in the country.

IFP: A Continued Commitment to Lebanon and the Construction Sector

For his part, Mr. Albert Aoun, Chairman and CEO of IFP Group, highlighted the longstanding role of Project Lebanon in Lebanon’s journey since its launch in 1995, stressing the ability of Lebanese professionals in the construction sector to contribute to building the country, rebuilding it and preserving its heritage.

Aoun said:

“Since 1995, Project Lebanon has stood beside this country through years of growth and moments of deep adversity. The exhibition has always held to a firm belief that Lebanon’s builders, engineers, industrialists and architects have an exceptional capacity to build, rebuild and preserve what makes this country unique. Project Lebanon 2026 was organized to meet these needs.”

The 2026 edition of Project Lebanon reflects this continued commitment by bringing together companies, professionals, decision-makers and buyers from Lebanon, the region and around the world on one platform, supporting knowledge exchange and opening the door to new partnerships and business opportunities at a time when the need for specialized solutions, technologies and expertise continues to grow.
